I had my first set of IV iron on Sunday. They only had to stick me twice before getting a good vein, so that was a plus. I slept for quite some time, then woke up ravenously hungry, so I called in a food order. My head was still fuzzy, so I slept a little more, and when I woke up, I could concentrate a little better, so I read part of Good Omens. If you have not read this book, shame on you. Seriously, it is marvelous. I get something new from it every time I read it.
I checked in at 9 AM, and checked out a little after 5 PM. All the nurses at the transfusion center think I'm a trooper for willingly taking a day to do these types of infusions and not making a huge fuss about it during the process, since most people my age who get these treatments are apparently drama queens about it and complain about everything. I just smiled and told them I save all my ranting for the Internet, which made them laugh.
So all in all, not a bad first day.
I came home, called my Aunt Sandy and my mom, then had dinner.
Then I decided that since there was not feasible way for me to concentrate on studying after all that, I played Sly Cooper (the first one) on my PS2. I really am amazed it took me this long to get back to this series: even with slightly dated graphics and a few gameplay issues, it still is entertaining.
I need to go to bed; my cat Tibby is getting annoyed because I'm not in bed yet so he can't cuddle up to me (the spoiled brat). ^_~
much love,
RA

To me, deviantART is more than just a gallery. It's where people come for support and love from one another in an artistic sense, and communal sense, and I fear we've lost sight of that.
